Merging Changes

Suppose you are working on multiple features in your project. After you finish the features, you want to create a change that includes all of the features. Merging changes is how you create a change that includes code from multiple parent changes.

Take the following steps to merge changes:

  1. Select the changes you want to merge from the change list.
  2. Press Cmd-M or choose Change > Merge Changes.

When you merge Jjewel adds a new change to the top of the change list with the description Merge. The merged change is usually empty right after you perform the merge.
